Join Army Ranger Kris Paronto for an extraordinary behind the scenes look at what happened in Benghazi Libya on the night of September 11, 2012 when terrorists attacked the US State Department Special Mission Compound and a nearby CIA station. Hear former Army Ranger and private security contractor Paronto’s first-hand account as he presents this harrowing, true story of the brave men who fought back during the Battle of Benghazi. Their story was recounted in the Michael Bay movie13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, based on the book “13 Hours” written by New York Times bestselling author Mitchell Zuckoff with the Annex Security Team.
This special movie presentation will include one pause of the movie to allow Kris to comment on what happened that night as a team of six American security operators fought to repel the attackers and protect the Americans stationed there. Those men went beyond the call of duty, performing extraordinary acts of courage and heroism, to avert tragedy on a much larger scale.
Kris Paronto is a former Army Ranger from 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment and private security contractor who has deployed throughout South America, Central America, the Middle East and North Africa. He was part the CIA annex security team that responded to the terrorist attack on the US Special Mission in Benghazi, Libya, helping to save over 20 lives while fighting off terrorists from the CIA Annex for over 13 hours.
