Eagle Storage of Dover Hosts 2nd Annual Benefit Yard Sale and Auction for Veterans Count

By | In the News

On Sunday, September 20, 2015, from 9AM to 1PM, Eagle Storage, on Route 155 in Dover, will host a giant benefit yard sale. Sponsored by BlueTech Car Wash and Calling All Cargo, the proceeds from sponsorships and seller registration fees will go to benefit Veterans Count, a program of Easter Seals, whose mission is to provide critical and timely financial assistance and services when no other resource is available to veterans, service members and their families, to ensure their dignity, health and overall well-being.

It is suggested that yardsalers donate $2 for entry into event (not required). Refreshments will be available for sale.

Liz Comeau, Site Manager for Eagle Storage, says “Eagle Storage has always been community minded by donating money and storage to local organizations, and we are excited to continue our new yard sale tradition.”

Veterans Count will have its own sale table loaded with donated items that Eagle Storage has been collecting over the summer. Item donations, clean and in good repair, can still be dropped off at Eagle Storage, 221 Knox Marsh Rd, Dover NH. 9AM to 4PM Mon – Sat up until September 19, and must be approved by staff. At 1PM, a WINNER TAKE ALL AUCTION will be held, with all proceeds going to Veterans Count.

Denise Poulos, Veterans Count board member, says “I was honored when Eagle Storage reached out with the generous offer to support Veterans Count through this popular event. This program truly does offer a hand up to our military families and offers an opportunity for all members of the community to show their appreciation.”

In 2014, more than 800 shoppers attended the event, and Eagle Storage helped to raise over $1,500 for Amy’s Treat, another local non-profit. This year is expected to exceed that total.

Details and registration forms for sellers can be found at Deadline for seller registration is September 17, 2015. Questions can be directed to Eagle Storage 603-750-7500.
