News Radio 610AM and 96-7FM, and iHeartRadio are once again teaming up with Veterans Count and taking to the airwaves to show support for NH’s military heroes, and to honor all they and their families have sacrificed!
“Make 12 Hours Count” Radio Thon presented by LTC Partners, will take place on Wednesday, March 20 from 6am–6pm. Listeners can tune in to News Radio 610AM and 96-7FM, as well as listen on the iHeartRadio app.
For the past four years, radio legend and Veterans Count advocate Jack Heath of NH Today has hosted the Radio Thon, and he is once again honored to man the microphone. The 12-hour broadcast will highlight the challenges faced by our veterans in the state of NH, and how your support can help Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Services (MVS) and Veterans Count assist our service men and women in their time of need. In addition, the Radio Thon will feature MVS client stories, sponsor interviews, celebrity endorsements and military dignitaries.
The Radio Thon, which has raised more than $550,000 over the past four years, will directly impact the lives of service members of all eras and their families. To support the Radio Thon call the Holy Rosary Credit Union phone bank at 1.844.650.VETS (8387) on March 20, from 6am-6pm, or you can make a donation online at vetscount.org.
Since 2007, MVS has provided services to more than 13,000 NH veterans, service members and their families! These services included housing and homelessness, employment, suicide prevention, substance misuse treatment, transportation, and treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. In addition, emergency financial assistance has been distributed for housing, transportation, fuel, utilities, food, vehicle repairs, legal documents, and other critical and unmet needs!
In addition to LTC Partners and Holy Rosary Credit Union, the Radio Thon is sponsored by The Lucas Group, Chunky’s Cinema & Pub, Bank of America, Eastern Propane and Oil, Granite Group Benefits, McLane Middleton, Port Electronics Corporation, Provident Bank, Service Credit Union, Walmart, Calling All Cargo, Catholic Medical Center, Chappell Tractor, Elliot Health System, Pitco Frialator, Ricci Lumber, Sig Sauer, and Turbocam International.
