In 2014, a group of dedicated volunteers in the Lakes Region led by Cynthia Makris, Ken Lull, and Tim Callahan gathered community leaders to get the ball rolling to launch a new chapter of Veterans Count!

In 2007, a group of dedicated volunteers from throughout the state came together for the purpose of raising money and awareness for veterans through Veterans Count. This group of caring individuals and committed leaders set the tone for a culture of giving.

Inspired by the success of other Veterans Count chapters throughout the state, dedicated volunteers and business leaders from the Seacoast came together in 2012 to form the Veterans Count Seacoast Chapter.

    Seeking Mental Health Care for the Battle Within

    For many Veterans, admitting their struggles and seeking help is an uphill battle. For Scott, an Iraq War Veteran, acknowledging his posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) was the most daunting challenge he had to face.

    Swim With A Mission (SWAM) recently donated $50,000 to Easterseals NH Veterans Count, helping us support New Hampshire’s military community through our programs and services. Veterans Count Executive Committee Chair Tim Callahan met with SWAM representatives to accept this generous gift and shared what this partnership means to the organization and its commitment to serving those who have served.

  • More than 300 craft beer and wine lovers attended the 8th Annual Red, White & Brew Craft Beer and Wine Festival on September 28th to support the military community through Easterseals NH Veterans Count.
