Easterseals New Hampshire’s Veterans Count provides a safety net of critical case management and emergency financial assistance to meet the unexpected needs of service members, veterans, and their families.

Lakes Region

In 2014, a group of dedicated volunteers in the Lakes Region led by Cynthia Makris, Ken Lull, and Tim Callahan gathered community leaders to get the ball rolling to launch a new chapter of Veterans Count!

Manchester

In 2007, a group of dedicated volunteers from throughout the state came together for the purpose of raising money and awareness for veterans through Veterans Count. This group of caring individuals and committed leaders set the tone for a culture of giving.

Inspired by the success of other Veterans Count chapters throughout the state, dedicated volunteers and business leaders from the Seacoast came together in 2012 to form the Veterans Count Seacoast Chapter.

    Veterans Count Radiothon raises more than $70,000 for NH service members, veterans, and families

    The on-air fundraiser held on May 15 was the 10th annual Veterans Count Make 12-Hours Count Radiothon. Funds raised directly aid New Hampshire service members, veterans and their families through Veterans Count case management and emergency financial assistance.

    LACONIA — Motorcyclists from the Lakes Region and beyond gathered at the NASWA Resort for the 18th annual Peter Makris Memorial Run on Saturday.
