- $750 is the average cost for a car repair
- $500 provides food for a family of four for one month
- $250 will purchase of a bed for a new apartment
- $150 buys a business suit for an upcoming interview/job
- $125 covers the monthly heating bill
- $100 will pay for an overnight stay in a hotel for a homeless veteran while waiting for housing
- $75 will pay for a monthly electric bill for single soldier
- $50 will cover a prepaid cell phone gift card
