Manchester, NH– Tune in on Wednesday, May 13, to hear from and support the New Hampshire military community through the annual Veterans Count “Make 12-Hours Count Radiothon.”

The on-air fundraiser will broadcast from 6 am to 6 pm on The Pulse of NH stations, including News Talk 107.3 WTPL, 98.1 WTSN, and 107.3 WEMJ.  Listeners will also find the radiothon on music stations, including Frank FM, 105.5 JYY, Country 93.3 The Wolf, and Country 95.3 & 107.1 The Wolf.

Easterseals NH Veterans Count is joining forces with Binnie Media to present a day of programming by and about Veterans to fundraise for the New Hampshire military community.  Hosted by Jack Heath of “Good Morning New Hampshire” and broadcast legend Mike Pomp, listeners will enjoy a day filled with stories, sponsor interviews, celebrity endorsements, and dignitary spotlights.

Last year, the “Make 12 Hours Count” Radiothon raised more than $70,000 which directly aided New Hampshire service members, Veterans, and their families through Veterans Count case management and emergency financial assistance. To support the 2024 Radiothon, donors can call the phone bank at 1.844.650.VETS (8387) on May 13, from 6 am – 6 pm, or donations can be made online at https://vetscount.org/donate/.

Close to 100,000 NH residents over age 18 are either active-duty service members, in the National Guard or military veterans. That is roughly 1 in 10 adults in the Granite State. They are friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors.

Veterans and military families face daily challenges that Veterans Count addresses through exceptional, personalized care coordination and services, including: housing stabilization, employment, legal assistance, emotional support, aging, and senior needs, disability services, transportation, substance use disorders, budgeting, and financial management, emergency financial assistance, and clinical mental health counseling.

“We’re calling on everyone to tune in, listen closely, and get involved on May 13,” said Maureen Beauregard, President and CEO of Easterseals NH & VT. “This dedicated day of programming shines a light on the very real challenges our military community faces in New Hampshire and highlights how critical community support truly is.”

Presenting Sponsor FedPoint and Care Coordinator Sponsor Service Credit Union are joined by Half‑Hour Sponsors Coca‑Cola Beverages Northeast, Great Bay Spa & Sauna, and Jasmoor Roofing, along with Hour Sponsors Abundant Life Stoves & Spas, Cyr Lumber, Eastern Propane & Oil, and Northeast Delta Dental.
