Craft Beer and Wine Festival Raises over $53,000 for Veterans Count’s Programs and Services
Laconia, NH, October 8, 2024 — The Lakes Region chapter of Veterans Count, a program of Easterseals NH, hosted the 8th Annual Red, White & Brew craft beer and wine festival on Saturday, September 28th. The festival attracted more than 300 guests and raised over $53,000 for Veterans Count.
Veterans Count assists New Hampshire’s active duty service members, veterans, and their families with physical and mental healthcare, disability care, senior services, employment assistance, housing security, and substance use disorder assistance. Proceeds from the Red, White & Brew festival help fund these resources and services for New Hampshire’s military community.
“A huge thank you to everyone who came to support Veterans Count and enjoy some great beer and wine at Red, White & Brew,” said Maureen Beauregard, President and CEO of Easterseals NH. “What a great way to have some fun while making a difference for the service members, veterans, and military families who receive care and services through Veterans Count.”
“Red, White & Brew was a beautiful day celebrating our veterans!” added Cynthia Makris, Chair of the Veterans Count Lakes Region Chapter. “We are full of gratitude to everyone who came out to raise money for Veterans Count.”
Visitors gathered at Funspot in Laconia to enjoy the offerings of local breweries and wineries, a variety of food vendors, and the music of the Bob Pratte Band. They also had a chance to win raffle and auction prizes and see classic autos at the festival’s car show.
