Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Services has received a $15,000 grant from the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank America’s Most Convenient Bank® to help provide a safety net of critical case management and emergency assistance to meet the unexpected crises of veterans, service members and their families.
“TD is proud to support Easter Seal’s New Hampshire in assisting our nation’s Veterans,” said Steve Webb, New Hampshire Market President for TD. “Through the Ready Commitment, TD’s multi-year community investment platform, TD is dedicated to insuring a more inclusive future for customers and communities by partnering with organizations providing access to improved healthcare outcomes.”
ESNH’s Military & Veterans Services is unique in New Hampshire in that it provides life-changing and timely financial assistance and services when no other resource is available to veterans, service members and their families, to ensure their dignity, health and overall well-being. Since 2006, Easterseals has helped more than 11,700 individuals with emergency financial support and aided in suicide prevention, employment, homelessness and housing placement, and treatment for mental health and adjustment issues.
“We are very thankful for the support from TD Charitable Foundation and for joining us in the important work of giving our service members and their families a hand up through challenging times,” said Easterseals President & CEO Larry Gammon. “Support from the community is critical to help ensure our veterans do not have to struggle after sacrificing so much for our country and the TD Charitable Foundation sets a high bar for generosity.”
